This I believe...
I believe that every experience teaches us something. If you don't try, it is true that you cannot fail, but if you do not try you also cannot succeeed. I believe that everyone has the ability to do big things, but only if they try. The difference between those who succeed and those who are not successful is work. I believe in a strong work ethic. I also believe in the effect of human thought on others. The greatest accomplishment is one's ability to make others feel emotions. This doesn't mean through hurting feelings and cattiness, but through changing their perspective and making them feel emotions simply from your words, your music, your voice. I believe goosebumps are a sign of your soul swelling with emotion. I also believe goosebumps can speak louder than a standing ovation. I believe that being able to move people to emotion is a gift. I believe the world needs more original thought - or some thought at all. We've moved away from thinking and dreaming and believing. We've done away with thinking because it's harder than what we've grown accustomed to. We've grown used to people telling us what to think and machines thinking for us that we no longer know how to have an original thought. I believe in being a fervent reader, thinker, student, friend, worker and most importantly - a fervent human being. There is no use doing anything you do not feel passionate about. I believe you need to respect your fellow humans no matter if they are family, friends, or strangers. You never know the ripple effect your attitude and your words can have on the world around you.
